CARSON, Calif. – In its final game of the 2019 regular season, the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday afternoon at Toro Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Off a cross from CSUDH's Sofia Litendahl from the left side, Alyssa Dunphy connected on a header right in front of the net and put the ball into the back right corner of the goal in the sixth minute.
- After Aluli's throw in went off a CSUDH defender's head, Daoust took a shot from the top right corner of the box. Her shot flew over the keeper's head and into the back left corner of the goal to knot the game at 1-1 in the 30th minute.
- A CSUSM handball foul in the box set up a Toro penalty kick in the 88th minute. Haley McDevitt's low shot to the right went off the Cougar keeper and rolled into the middle of the goal to put CSUDH up 2-1.

- CSUSM ends the regular season at 5-8-2 (4-6 CCAA) while CSUDH improves to 6-7-2 (4-4-1 CCAA).
- Daoust's finishes the regular season with a team-leading five goals – the most by a Cougar since 2014 and the most by a CSUSM player in the NCAA era (2015-present).
- The Toros had the slight advantage on shots at 13-11 and shots on goal at 8-5.
- Both teams had four corner kicks for the day.
- CSUSM was the more physical team with 20 fouls compared to CSUDH's 12.
- Eight Cougars played all 90 minutes.
