SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell 2-0 to visiting Stanislaus State in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Friday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Off a cross from the right side by Skyler Hoy, Stan State's Sadie Ortiz headed the ball into the right corner of the goal in the 67th minute.
• The Warriors made it a 2-0 game as Selia Torres headed the ball into the net off a corner kick by Sadie Ortiz in the far left corner.

 
QUICK KICKS

• The Cougars drop to 4-6-2 (3-4 CCAA) while the Warriors move up to 10-2 (5-2 CCAA).
• CSUSM outshot Stan State 13-11, but the advantage with shots on goal went to the Warriors at 6-4.
• The Cougars had a 5-2 advantage on shots in the first half, but the Warriors had a 9-8 advantage in the final half.
• Stan State tallied five corner kicks to CSUSM's three.
