SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team earned its second consecutive victory with a 3-1 win against Stanislaus State in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Friday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 22nd minute, Meza put CSUSM up 1-0 with a shot to the lower left corner from the right side off a blocked Cougar shot.
- The Cougars went up 2-0 in the 33rd minute as Salazar posted a bicycle-kick goal off a keeper rebound in the middle of the box.
- With just over two minutes remaining, Salazar earned his second goal of the game to put CSUSM up 3-0 with a shot to the lower left corner off a pass from Jacobo on the far side.
- Stan State ended the CSUSM shutout in the 89th minute as Dayne Sturtevant scored on a goal to the lower right corner off a pass from Sebastian Cole.
