SAN MARCOS, Calif – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to San Francisco State in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Friday afternoon at the Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first half, the Gators scored a flurry of goals all within five minutes in the second half.
- A free kick by SFSU's Jonathan Orozco from the left side was headed into the right side by London Lombana to put the Gators up 1-0 in the 60th minute.
- A pass from Lombana at the top of the box to Julio Gonzalez Ponce found its way into the bottom left corner of the goal in the 64th minute and put SFSU up 2-0.
- Just 30 seconds later, Lombana passed the ball behind the back to Adrian Media. Medina took a shot from the top of the box and found the upper left corner of the goal to put the Gators up 3-0.

- CSUSMÂ drops to 3-6-2 (1-2-2 CCAA) while SF State improves to 6-2 (3-1 CCAA).
- The Cougars had a 15-9 shot advantage, but the Gators finished with an 8-4 lead in shots on goals.
