SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team recorded its first draw (1-1) of 2018 against Biola on Thursday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A flick over the Eagle defense by Sammy Zanini in the 27th minute was on frame for the Cougars, but Biola keeper Alyssa Joel snagged the ball for the save.
- Bivens dribbled past the keeper and sent the ball to the deep left corner of the net to put CSUSM up 1-0 in the 35th minute.
- Biola's Melvn got the equalizer in the 70th minute with a shot from outside the box.
