SAN MARCOS, Calif. – With less than a minute remaining,
David Martin put away his second game-winner in as many matches to send Cal State San Marcos men's soccer past Montana State Billings, 2-1, on Tuesday morning at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 27th minute, MSUB took a 1-0 on a free kick opportunity. Kremer bent the shot across the goal from the left side and Kowachek finished it to the back right corner of the goal.
- CSUSM had a chance to even the game with a penalty kick after a handball occurred in the box. A diving save by MSUB's keeper Ludvig Rhodin stopped Andrew Stalboerger's shot.
- The Cougars got the equalizer in the 77th minute when Morrison sent the ball across that deflected off MSUB keeper before Poland powered the ball to back of the net.
- Poland drew the defense out wide before sending the ball to Martin who crushed it to the upper corner from the top of the 18 for the game winner.
QUICK KICKS
- CSUSM improves to 3-0 on the season while MSUB falls to 0-3.
- Despite only having one shot in the opening half, CSUSM turned on the heat in the second with nine to narrowly win the advantage 10-9.
- CSUSM also finished with a 6-1 advantage over MSUB in corner kicks.
- Justin Tesar generated three saves in the match.
