SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team fell in three consecutive sets at Cal State Monterey Bay in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Friday night in The Kelp Bed.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Otters jumped out early, forcing CSUSM to play catch up in the opening set. CSUMB used a .345 attack percentage to record the first set victory.
- CSUSM took a 10-7 lead in the second set before the Otters scored 10 unanswered points. The Cougars late rally fell short as CSUMB took a 2-0 lead in the match.
- Similar to the second set, the Otters knocked off eight consecutive points to pull away from a 13-13 tie.

- CSUSM drops to 8-7 on the season and 4-3 in CCAA play while the Otters move up to 9-6 overall, 4-4 in conference action.
