David Martin goal in the 100th minute of action pushed Cal State San Marcos men's soccer to a 3-2 overtime victory against Biola University on Saturday night at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM struck first on a 27th minute penalty kick by Salazar.
- The Cougars added to their lead on a header from Mendez after Salazar sent it across on a free kick.
- The Eagles got on the board in the 60th minute when Serrrano fed the ball to Thompson who tapped it in past a diving CSUSM keeper, Justin Tesar.
- Biola knotted the game at 2-2 in the 84th minute on a free kick by Thompson from 30 feet out in front of the goal.
- With four seconds remaining in the first overtime, Martin found the back of the net at the near right corner after taking a cross from Stalboerger that Wagstaff redirected.

- The Cougars improve to 2-0 on the season while Biola drops to 0-2.
- With the win, CSUSM leads the all-time series record against Biola at 5-3-2.
- The last time CSUSM opened the season with two victories was in 2014 when the Cougars finished with a 13-4 record.
