IRVINE, Calif. – Two goals in less than two minutes lifted the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Concordia Irvine on Thursday afternoon at Eagles Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars found themselves down early on a corner kick that was mismanaged despite having a scouting report on that play.
- Stalboerger's equalizer came off a free kick that he headed into the top right corner of the goal.
- Schrock's game winner was a left footed volley from 25 yards out.
QUICK KICKS
- Today's win was a bit of déjà vu as the Cougars collected a 2-1 victory over the Eagles in last year's season opener at home.
- Stalboerger notched his first goal of the season and his seventh of his collegiate career.
- Schrock scored his first collegiate goal with the game winner.
