THOUGHTS FROM COACH OLSEN:
"I am so proud of our teams. Our men brought so much passion to what we've done all year. Vahagn stepped up and ran a fantastic, gritty race to lead the team again when it was on the line. In some key tough moments of the race, we were a bit more conservative than we needed to be, and it cost us. But this is a very good men's team, and sitting in seventh, we'll have to wait until Monday to see whether we snagged one of the 10 at-large qualification spots. If we do, I expect us to bounce back well in two weeks. If not, both Vahagn and Shea will be in contention for individual qualifying spots. Either way, I'm proud of this team and excited for our future."
Â
UP NEXT: It's now a waiting game for the Cougars. They will find out Monday if they will advance as a team or if any of the Cougars will receive at-large bids to the NCAA National Championships on held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 1, 2018.
