LA MIRADA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team posted a come-from-behind victory with a 69-62 win over Concordia Irvine on Saturday night on the campus of Biola University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM got off to a slow start, trailing 12-6 at the midway point of the first half.
- The Cougars closed out the half with a 5-2 run to trail 29-15 at the break.
- An Elliott layup at the 12:02 mark of the second half cut CUI's lead to 43-36.
- A pair of free throws by Fuller gave CSUSM its first lead of the game with 4:50 remaining.
- After shooting just 26.9 percent (7-of-26) in the first half, the Cougars shot a blazing 65.5 percent (19-of-29) in the second half.
- The Cougars' hot shooting allowed them to outscore the Eagles 54-33 in the second half.
- CSUSMÂ capitalized on CUI fouls in the second half by going 13-of-20 from the charity stripe.
