SAN MARCOS, Calif. – On Senior Day, the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team clinched a 3-2 victory over Cal State L.A. after
Lauren Perry scored the game-winner in the 80th minute on Sunday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a CSUSM foul outside of the box, Ramirez blasted a free kick to the top right corner of the goal to put CSULA up 1-0 in the third minute.
- A foul was called on CSULA inside the box leading to a penalty kick for CSUSM. Wilson finished the ball to the bottom right corner to even the game at 1-1.
- Moreno converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute to give CSUSM its first lead of the day at 2-1.
- Yesenia Betancourt made a great save on a penalty kick, but Ramirez got her own rebound to even the game at 2-2.
- Perry's header from close range to the top right corner made it 3-2 CSUSM with 10 minutes remaining.

- CSUSM improves to 7-5-3 (6-2-2 CCAA) while CSULA falls to 8-5-2 (4-4-2 CCAA).
- It was Perry's third goal of the season while Wilson snagged her second goal. Moreno recorded her first goal of 2018.
