TURLOCK, Calif. – After recording a five-set win last night in Chico, the Cal State San Marcos volleyball team fought a hard California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match at Stanislaus State before falling in four sets at Fitzpatrick Arena on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM struggled in the opening set while the Warriors shined with a .345 attack percentage. Stan State pulled away in the second half of the set to clinch the win at 25-12.
- In the second set, the Cougars took their first lead after the halfway mark at the 17-17 mark on a Taylor Dixon ace. CSUSM held on for a 27-25 win to even the match at 1-1. The Cougars tallied a .244 clip and recorded five blocks in the set.
- The Warriors take a 2-1 set lead with a 26-24 third set win, finishing on a 4-0 run to come from behind.
- CSUSM and Stan State traded leads throughout the fourth set before the Warriors finally earned the 25-23 set victory to clinch the match.

- CSUSM drops to 9-11 overall and 5-7 in CCAA action while the Warriors improve to 13-7 on the season, 6-6 in conference play.
- Hulla recorded her first double-double of the season with 18 kills and 13 digs.
