SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Senior forward
Meghan Randig's two goals lifted the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team to a 2-0 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) victory over Cal State San Bernardino on Friday afternoon at The Cage.
With the win, the Cougars improved to 6-3-0 overall and 4-1-0 in CCAA action. The Coyotes dropped to 5-4-1 overall, 3-2-0 in conference play.

Bailey Cockrill recorded her fifth shut out of the season and second in as many matches.
The Cougars outshot the Coyotes, 13-7, with eight of those being put on frame.
Randig put CSUSM on the board first with a goal in the 11th minute of the match. She dribbled past a defender, and was left 1-on-1 with the keeper. Randig was then able to tap it in and finish to the left side.
The forward would add her second goal of the match in the second half. On a cross whipped inside the box and from the right side, she was able to finish to the upper right corner of the net, helping to secure a 2-0 win. Senior
Kayla Anderson was given the assist on both goals.
CSUSM has won four of its last five matches dating back to Sept. 15.
The Cougars return to The Cage for another CCAA matchup this Sunday, Oct. 1 as they welcome the Broncos of Cal Poly Pomona. Kick-off is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
