SAN MARCOS, Calif. - The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Cal State San Bernardino in California Collegiate Athletic Association play on Friday, Sept. 29 at The Cage.
The lone goal of the match came just before halftime in the 42nd minute as the Coyotes' Kevin Aguilar scored on a free kick chance from the right side. It was Aguilar's third goal of the season.
The Cougars drop to 2-5-2 overall and 0-4-1 in CCAA play. CSUSB improves to 5-5, 3-2 CCAA.
CSUSM edged the Coyotes in shots, 7-6 with freshman
Rodrigo Rodriguez leading the Cougars in shots with two. Saves and corner kicks were even on both sides, 2-2 and 5-5, respectively.

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 1 as they welcome No. 17 Cal Poly Pomona to The Cage for another CCAA conference match. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
