CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team bounced back following a loss to take down Cal State Dominguez Hills, 1-0, in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Monday evening at Toro Stadium.

Katie Connor scored her first collegiate goal in the 39th minute on a header that was put to the back of the net coming off a ball whipped in from the left side by junior
Megan Pfrunder. It was the first assist of the season for Pfrunder.
CSUSM improves to 5-3 overall and 3-1 CCAA. The Toros fall to 0-7, 0-4 CCAA following the loss.
The Cougars outshot the Toros 16-5, putting seven of those on frame. Sophomore goalkeeper
Bailey Cockrill records her fourth clean sheet of the season and made one save in the match.
CSUSM will return home Friday, Sept. 29 to take on Cal State San Bernardino in The Cage at 12:30 p.m.
