Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Cougars Fall to CSULA

LOS ANGELES – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell to Cal State Los Angeles, 1-0, in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Friday, Sept. 22 at Jesse Owens Track.
 
CSULA'S Adyson Willett connected on a corner kick from Holly Abdelkader for what proved to be the game-winner in the 72nd minute.
 
CSUSM (4-3, 2-1 CCAA) held a 13-10 advantage in shots, but the Golden Eagles (4-1-2, 2-0-1 CCAA) edged the Cougars 6-3 on shots-on-goal.

Near the 84th minute senior Meghan Randig and sophomore Sierra Ferrario nearly tied the match with two shots both saved within a minute span.

The Cougars will be back in action Monday, Sept. 25 at 4:30 p .m. as they will travel on the road once again to play Cal State Dominguez Hills.
