CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell, 75-56, to Cal State Dominguez Hills at the Torodome in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Sunday.
The Cougars drop to 1-6 overall and 1-2 in CCAA play while the Toros improve to 7-4, 5-1 CCAA.

Lupe Cruz was just a point shy of a double-double, finishing with nine points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes played.
CSUSM led 22-15 after the first quarter of play but was outscored 60-34 by CSUDH in the remaining three quarters.
The Toros shot just 29.3 percent (24-of-82) for the game including just 3-of-19 from the perimeter but defensively forced a season-high 29 turnovers from CSUSM. They outscored the Cougars 32-8 on points off turnovers for the game.
For the game, CSUSM shot 36.2 percent (21-of-58) from the field and 5-of-22 (22.7 percent) from behind the arc.
The Cougars once led by as many as 14 with 1:56 remaining in the first quarter.
CSUDH's Taylor Farris recorded a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds while Nautica Morrow went 7-of-22 from the field and would finish with 23 points and eight rebounds.
CSUSM is back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Cal State L.A.
