POMONA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team saw its 2015-16 season come to an end Saturday night with a 58-38 loss to Cal Poly Pomona in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play at Kellogg Arena.
The Cougars conclude their first CCAA schedule with a record of 5-15 and 7-18 overall. The Broncos (11-16, 9-11 CCAA) enter the CCAA Tournament as the seventh seed and will face No. 2-seed UC San Diego on Tuesday, March 1 at 5:30 at the RIMAC Arena in La Jolla.

Savannah Camp tallied a game-high 23 points in addition to pulling down seven rebounds. In her final collegiate game, senior
Brianna Higgins recorded six points and seven boards while dishing out three assists.
CSUSM trailed 26-12 at the break and just could not find its rhythm on offense.
The Broncos shot 51.0 percent (26-51) to the Cougars 25.0 (13-52) from the field. CPP also won the battle of the boards by a 43-25 margin.
CPP's Mary Williams notched a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Priscilla Brooks added 14 points and nine boards.
