New Look for CSUSM
· The Cougars enter this season in under the watch of interim head coach
B.J. Foster, who spent the previous three years as the head assistant at CSUSM.
· CSUSM has eight new players on this year's roster, including a number of NCAA Division I transfers.

Tyson Kygar,
Dayton Boddie,
Jordan Jefferson,
Devin Koeplin and
Alec Frank are the only remaining players from 2015-16 who will see the floor this season.
· CSUSM was picked to finish eighth in today's CCAA Preseason Coaches' Poll
CSUSM vs. Biola
· The Cougars are 2-2 all-time against the Eagles.
· The Cougars beat the Eagles 81-76 in the previous meeting between the teams on Jan. 6, 2015.
· BU was picked to win the Golden State Athletic Conference in the GSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll
· BU went 30-4 last season, won the GSAC and earned the No. 1-seed for the NAIA national tournament.
Cougars vs. Other Eagles
· CSUSM is 5-4 all-time against CUI, having won the last five contests between the squads.
· The Cougars started the game with a 13-2 spurt and never trailed in a 92-77 victory over the Eagles last season on Nov. 18, 2015.
· CUI went 22-6 during 2015-16, its first year of NCAA Division II and PacWest play.
