TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team's recent run of success hit a road block on Sunday at Stanislaus State, as the Cougars fell 3-1 to the Warriors in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play at Warrior Stadium.
Megan Pfrunder put the Cougars ahead in the 35
th minute, but Stan St. answered with two goals in a span of two minutes to take a 2-1 lead by the 40
th. The Warriors added an insurance goal in the 84
th.
CSUSM, which entered the day riding its first-ever three-match CCAA winning streak, drops to 7-4-4 overall and 5-4-1 in CCAA play. Stan St. improves to 10-6-0, 4-6-0 CCAA.

Katie Largent on her second goal of the season.
The Cougars have two more matches remaining in the 2016 season, both on the road next Thursday and Saturday at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino, respectively.
