HAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team started its weekend with a 0-0 draw on Friday evening at Cal State East Bay.
The Cougars were cut to 10 men when
Jacob Cintas was red carded in the 99
th minute, but withstood being a man down for the final 11 minutes to preserve a point.
CSUSM moves to 5-4-3 overall and 4-2-3 CCAA. The Cougars outshot the Pioneers 15-9.
CSUEB drops to 6-7-2, 2-5-2 CCAA.
The Cougars take on Stanislaus State on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Turlock.
