SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team dropped a three-set decision (25-16, 25-9, 25-15) at No. 19 Cal State San Bernardino in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Saturday night.
With the loss, the Cougars fall to 12-7 overall and 5-5 in CCAA play while the Coyotes improve to 12-4 overall, 6-2 in conference.
Freshman
Madi Anderson led the Cougars with a team-high seven kills, while sophomore
Courtney Hulla and senior
Brooke Butler notched six kills each. Freshman
Aleese Wheaton registered a team-high 20 assists and sophomore
Faith Fortune added three blocks.
CSUSB's Lauren Nicholson had a match-high 20 kills and Hailey Jackson added seven.
The Cougars hit the road again on Tuesday, Oct. 18 for a match at Cal State L.A. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
