CSUSM Closes Out Home Schedule vs. CSUDH, CSULA

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team will be home for the final time in 2016 to host Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play. On Sunday against CSULA, the Cougars will honor six seniors for their years of service to the program.

Senior Day Sunday
Be sure to arrive early to Sunday's match against Cal State L.A. Six seniors – Courtney McLeish, Lauren Rivero, Erica Dory, Yeya Millan, Sidney Hernandez and Brie Jones – will be honored for their years of service to the CSUSM soccer program. The ceremony is set to begin at 11:10 AM, 20 minutes before kick-off.

Cougar Notes
· The Cougars went 1-1 on their first CCAA road trip of the season last weekend.
· CSUSM scored three unanswered goals in a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay.
· The Cougars fell to San Francisco State, 1-0.
· CSUSM is in eighth place in the CCAA standings with seven points, 11 points behind first-place UC San Diego.

CSUSM vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills
· CSUSM is 2-3-0 all-time against CSUDH.
· The Cougars have won the previous two meetings between the squads by a combined score of 3-0.
· Paulina Good's header handed CSUSM a 1-0 win over CSUDH a year ago, the Cougars' first-ever CCAA road win.
· CSUDH has dropped two straight, but sits in sixth place in the CCAA standings.

CSUSM vs. CSULA
· CSUSM 1-2-0 all-time against the Golden Eagles.
· CSUSM fell 2-0 to CSULA last season, it's first-ever CCAA road match.
· The Golden Eagles have won five of their last six matches
· CSULA is tied for third place with 15 points, three back of UCSD.

The Renneisen File
Head coach Bobby Renneisen enters his third year in charge of the women's program and 11th overall at CSUSM. Between 2006-13, Renneisen was an assistant/associate head coach for both the men's and women's teams. As the women's head coach, Renneisen is 18-15-14 (.532) during his three years.
