CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team's rally fell short at California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponent Cal State Dominguez Hills on Wednesday night in the Torodome.
The Cougars fall to 11-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play while the Toros improve to 7-10, 4-5 in CCAA action.
Senior
Brooke Butler tallied her fourth double-double of 2016 with 14 digs and a team-high 16 kills. Sophomore
Lauren Lee recorded 15 digs, eight kills and three blocks.
Both teams had similar stats except for blocks with CSUDH finishing on top with a difference of 14 to 5 blocks.
CSUDH had three Toros in double-digits in kills with Claire Autry leading the way with 15.
The Cougars continue their busy week of three matches on Friday when they host Cal Poly Pomona at 7 p.m. in The Sports Center.
