Cougars Still #1
Cal State San Marcos landed on top of the 2014 - 15 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the third-consecutive week, the national office announced Tuesday. With nine-of-10 first-place votes and 250 points, the Cougars won its 22nd game of the year after a 74-65 victory against then-No. 8 Concordia (Calif.) on Feb. 7 in the NAIA Game of the Week. With a 22-2 overall record and an eight-game winning streak, Cal State San Marcos continues to be one of the hottest NAIA teams. The victory over Concordia marked the Cougars 25th-straight home win. In the last 18 polls CSUSM has boasted a top-three position, including 11 No. 1 spots.

McMurry Preview
McMurry and CSUSM will be meeting for the first time on Thursday afternoon. McMurry is an NCAA Division II institution which competes in the Lone Star Conference. The team has lost six straight, including a 90-68 loss to host NNMC on Wednesday night.

Northern New Mexico Preview
NNMC and CSUSM played an instant classic on Jan. 24 at MiraCosta College. CSUSM, trailing by 20 with 6:41 remaining, rallied to force two overtimes before prevailing, 100-91. The Eagles have won 11 of their last 13. The Cougars beat the Eagles twice in last year's NNMC Classic. CSUSM is 3-0 all-time against NNMC.

Johnson & Wales (Colo.)
It's been a tough year for Johnson & Wales. The NAIA Division II program has yet to win a game this season and stands at 0-27 overall. The Cougars are 1-0 all-time against the Wildcats.
