ARCATA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team outclassed Humboldt State in nearly every statistical category, but neither team could score in the teams' 0-0 (2OT) tie in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Sunday afternoon at College Creek Field.
The Cougars move to 3-6-5 overall and 3-4-3 in CCAA play. Humboldt State is now 7-5-2, 3-3-2 CCAA.
CSUSM outshot HSU 14-3, won the corner kick battle 5-2 and forced HSU goalkeeper Caitlin Plese to make eight saves on the afternoon.

CSUSM has two road CCAA contests remaining. The Cougars take on UC San Diego in La Jolla this Wednesday night at 7 p.m. before heading to Chico to face the Wildcats on Sunday at 2 p.m.
