Last time vs. TMC: W, 90-67 (Jan. 7, 2014); Then-No. 4 CSUSM trailed at the half for the first time during the 2013-14 season its last time out against TMC, but shot 57-percent in the second half to turn a close game into a blowout. Down 37-36 at intermission, CSUSM opened the second half on a 13-2 run before the CSUSM backcourt sparked an 11-2 stretch that put the Cougars up 17 with 8:28 remaining. The victory was the Cougars' ninth in a row, and the loss snapped an eight-game winning streak for the Mustangs.
Malcolm Lemmons led the Cougars with 17 points.

De'End Parker had 15 and
Bobby Macias had 13. All of Macias' points were in the second half, when he was 3-of-3 from the floor and 7-of-7 from the stripe.
TMC Breakdown: The Mustangs enter Saturday's contest having lost six of their last seven games, their only win coming against NAIA Division II's Menlo College at the Arizona Christian New Year's Classic on Dec. 28. Russell Byrd is nearly averaging a double-double for TMC with 18.7 PPG and 8.9 RPG.
