Good Honored by Conference
Paulina Good was honored by the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Monday by being named the A.I.I. Female Athlete of the Week, marking the first time a CSUSM student-athlete has been recognized by the conference during the 2014-15 season. Good scored three goals in the Cougars' two victories over the weekend, including both in a 2-0 win over previously-undefeated Biola on Saturday.

Changes Paying Off
The Cougars have seen a slight change in fortune since making a couple of lineup adjustments following their two losses. Karly Dunning has come on and contributed in her role as the holding midfielder, and Good has scored three times since switching to striker from her usual position of center mid. Morgan Simmons has looked strong in her new role of starting left back. Courtney McLeish has pushed up into the right-mid slot.

ERAU Preview
All-time vs. ERAU: 4-2-1
Last time out: L, 1-2 (Oct. 27, 2012)
It's been tough sledding out of the gate for ERAU, as the Eagles have dropped six of their last seven and three consecutive contests. ERAU has dropped back-to-back one-goal games at UC Merced and Menlo College, but earlier beat No. 19 Our Lady of The Lake (Texas), 4-3, at home on Sept. 12. Kalyn Goodenough and Amanda Bennett have scored four goals apiece to lead the Eagles thus far.

Schedule Outlook
After a trip to Northern California next weekend to play Mills College and UC Santa Cruz, CSUSM will host their final five games at home versus Marymount (Calif.) (Oct. 16, 1 p.m.), Bethesda (Oct. 18, 1p.m.), San Diego Christian (Oct. 24, 3 p.m.), Antelope Valley (Oct. 25, 12 p.m.) and Point Loma (Nov. 4, 1 p.m.).
