Box Score ESPANOLA, N.M. – Quincy Lawson recorded season-highs with 21 points and 13 rebounds in the No. 1 Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team's 102-73 victory over Johnson & Wales (Colo.) on Saturday afternoon at Eagle Gym on the campus of Northern New Mexico College.
The Cougars improve to 25-1 overall and increase their winning streak to 16 games. JWU drops to 4-21.
Lawson went 10-of-12 from the floor, pulling down six offensive rebounds while swatting three shots.
Malcolm Lemmons matched Lawson with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting.
Bobby Macias added 17 points and four assists, while
De'End Parker contributed 14 points.
The Cougars shot 60 percent for the game and 64.5 percent in the first half.
Khalil Murphy came in off the bench to record nine points and five boards.
CSUSM returns home this Tuesday night to take on Bethesda at 7:30 p.m. at MiraCosta College. It is the Cougars' final home game before March 1's Senior Night against St. Katherine.
