LA MIRADA –The 15^th-ranked Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell for the first time this season, 1-0, to Biola on Thursday night at Al Barbour Stadium.

Amanda Lillicrop headed in Morgan Aukshunas' cross in the 23^rd minute to help the Eagles improve to 5-2-0 on the season.

The Cougars drop to 4-1-1.

Biola outshot CSUSM 16-5 and put five on-frame compared to one by the Cougars

"We had a poor start to the game today, but played a great second half. I think we lacked sharpness early, but we corrected that issue later on. We just let the game slip away in the opening half," said CSUSM head coach Ron Pulvers.

CSUSM will turn around to face The Master's College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the third road game this week for CSUSM. The bout against TMC will be the Cougars' fifth in eight days.
