Still Ridin'
CSUSM continued its winning ways with its sixth-straight win on Saturday over The Master's College in Santa Clarita. The Cougars have now gone a full month without a loss, the last coming on Dec. 8 against Concordia (Calif.). The streak is the longest in team history and the Cougars have won nine of their last 10.

AJ Gasporra scored 22 points,
Jose Rivera added 13 and the Cougars used a 10-2 run late in the second half to put away The Master's College, 74-64, on Saturday night at Bross Gymnasium.
Quincy Lawson pulled down eight boards and six points while
Jacob Ranger went 3-of-4 from the floor for eight points. CSUSM improved to 5-1 against teams from the Golden State Athletic Conference this season.
Pomona-Pitzer Preview
The Sagehens enter Tuesday night's game winners of five of their last six games, including a 70-62 win over Biola on Jan. 2. Kyle McAndrews and Xavyr Moss lead PP with 16 PPG and 10.8 PPG, respectively. Jake Klewer is averaging nearly a double-double per game with 9.9 PPG and 9.6 RPG. Last season, CSUSM defeated PP 51-46 on Jan. 3, 2012 behind 21 points and 10 rebounds by Aaron Chamberlain, Jr. Pomona-Pitzer hails from NCAA Division III.

Historic Proportions
The Cougars ended 2012 in style, registering record-setting wins over UC Merced and Lethbridge at the New Year's Cougar Classic on Dec. 28 and 29, respectively. Against UCM, the Cougars put up a school-record 96 points in a 37-point victory, the largest in program history. However, the following night, CSUSM made a school-record 14 3-pointers on its way to a 40-point victory over Lethbridge (93-53).
