CSUSM out-hit the home team 44-29, with Taylor DeGraaf and Lindsey Mitchell tied for the team lead with 12 kills apiece. Libero Nichole May anchored a stout-as-usual defense, leading the team with 10 digs and also adding two service aces to her team-best mark. The third set would be academic, with CSUSM taking a big lead early and winning 25-15.
The Cougars will stay in Arizona for two matches tomorrow, taking on the University of Dallas and Embry-Riddle.
