An oversight on the team's post-season roster has forced CSUSM women's soccer to forfeit its opening round match at the A.I.I. Conference Tournament in Phoenix, AZ.

A player not listed on the team's 24-person post-season roster was entered into was a 5-0 win over Thomas University. The player was eligible but not listed on the post-season roster. The mistake was discovered following the match. Under NAIA rules, CSUSM was required to forfeit the match, and thus is eliminated from the tournament at which they were the #1 seed.

CSUSM may still be eligible for an at-large berth to Nationals. The final RPI ratings will be released on Sunday.
