A 50th-minute goal by Fresno Pacific's Demi Hamilton proved to be the difference in Saturday's women's soccer team, as the home team held on to defeat CSUSM 1-0.

#16 CSUSM is now 3-3-2 on the season.  Fresno Pacific improves to 4-1.

The Cougar offense, which has been up-and-down this season, put plenty of shots on net but couldn't get fully in sync on Saturday.  Despite matching Fresno Pacific by taking 11 shots and putting 5 on goal, the team was called for offsides 9 times.  Fresno Pacific keeper Catherine Michaelis stopped all 5 shots to pick up the shutout.

Forward Taylor Schurman led CSUSM with 4 shots and 2 on goal.
