Dennis A. Pugh Baseball Field

The Sports Center & Athletic Fields Policies

All CSUSM home games are played at Dennis A. Pugh Baseball Field. There is complimentary parking for attendees of intercollegiate athletics events (CSUSM sport clubs not included) in Lot Z. All other parking lots will require a paid parking pass. Pets are permitted only in designated areas.

Dennis A. Pugh Baseball Field opened as CSUSM Baseball Field on January 28, 2011 following six months of construction. Cougar Baseball played its first true home game in front of over 1,000 fans, with the team utilizing a three-run ninth inning to defeat Vanguard University 8-7. To view the game's recap, click here. On April 12, 2025, CSUSM Baseball Field was officially renamed Dennis A. Pugh Baseball Field in honor of the program's founding coach.

From Interstate 5:

Merge onto eastbound Highway 78
Drive approximately 14 miles on eastbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
Turn right to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
Turn left at the second stoplight to enter campus (across from the 'Ralphs' shopping center)
Make first left into Lot Z next to baseball field (Parking is FREE during CSUSM Athletics' events)
Walk east to venue

From Interstate 15:

Merge onto westbound Highway 78
Drive approximately 4.5 miles on westbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
Turn left to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
Turn left at the third stoplight to enter campus (across from the 'Ralphs' shopping center)
Make first left into Lot Z next to baseball field (Parking is FREE during CSUSM Athletics' events)
Walk east to venue
