Quincy Lawson of the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 21-Jan. 28, 2013. Lawson, a junior from Oceanside, Calif., registered the Cougars' first double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds in Jan. 25's 99-56 win over visiting UC Santa Cruz. He went 6-of-9 from the floor, six of his boards were on the offensive side of the ball and he added three blocks and a pair of steals in 25 minutes. CSUSM has won 10 games in a row, 13 of its last 14, and is currently ranked No. 9 in NAIA Division I.
