Senior outfielder Anthony Renteria has gotten off to a torrid start this spring, hitting .429 with team highs of 18 runs scored and 17 RBI in just 14 games. He is 3-for-3 in stolen bases, and is perfect in the field this season. Offensively, 11 of his 24 hits have gone for extra bases (4 doubles, 3 triples, 4 homeruns), and he is 4th in the NAIA in bases per game (3.5). Anthony’s .508 on-base percentage and .821 slugging percentage have helped the Cougars get out to a 9-5 February record.
