Bryan Emanuel has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 7-13, 2013. He scored a game-high 15 points to lead No. 10 CSUSM to a 74-54 win over NCAA Division III's Pomona-Pitzer on Jan. 8, the Cougars' seventh-straight win. Emanuel went 4-of-5 from 3-point land and scored 12 consecutive points for CSUSM in a 12-4 run that handed the Cougars an insurmountable 65-41 lead with 5:14 left to play.
