Danny Redmon of the men's basketball team has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 3-9. He played a key role in CSUSM's win over NCAA Division II's Point Loma Nazarene, scoring a career-high 24 points as CSUSM rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half to overtake the Sea Lions 51-46 on Wednesday night.  Redmon scored 12 points in a 14-3 run over a 4:25  span to hand the Cougars the lead for good, 34-33, with 12:39 remaining. He went 11-of-16 from the field and was the only Cougar besides Adam Eakles (2-of-3) to tally more than one field goal in the contest.
