Heather Thompson has been named CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 3-9 after her performance at the Arizona Christian Women's Basketball Classic this weekend. Thompson recorded a double-double in both wins, the Cougars' first since Nov. 13. She had 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 73-65 victory over Rocky Mountain before adding 12 and 12 in the win over Johnson & Wales. Thompson is averaging 5.2 PPG and 5.7 RPG this season.
