Senior Alyssa Dronenburg capped off an amazing career at CSUSM by leading the Cougars to a 4th place finish at the NAIA National Championships in Gulf Shores, AL. She will leave San Marcos as the single season (24) and career (63) home run leader, and ranked 2nd in the NAIA in the category, averaging a home run in nearly 15% of her at bats. Dronenburg was named an NAIA First Team All-American and was selected to the 2012 National Championship All-Tournament Team.
