Gallegos was named the CCAA Tournament MVP and NCAA West Region All-Tournament Team for her performance in CSUSM's five March games. She led the team in all five games with 23.2 points per game, 14 assists, 11 steals and a 38.6 field-goal percentage. She guided the Cougars to their first CCAA Tournament title by matching her career-best 29 points in the CCAA final against Cal State Dominguez Hills. She finished the season second in the CCAA with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.7.
