Werley, a junior from Riverside, registered a personal-best 35:53.99 in the 10,000m at the Occidental Distance Carnival. This marks the fastest California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) time so far this year and a NCAA Division II Provisional qualifying time. Last weekend, Werley took fourth at the Aztec Invite in the 3000m with a PR time of 10:08.80.
