Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Scott Rice of the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of December 9-15, 2013. Rice was awarded with his first NAIA All-America award when the committee announced him as an Honorable Mention selection last week. Rice finished the year with three goals and a pair of assists for a total of eight points, third-most on the squad. He was named to the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) First Team for the first time in his career.
