Coyle finished the month with a 7-0 record, six complete games, three shutouts, 46 strikeouts and a 0.59 ERA in 47.2 innings in the circle. She also picked up her Division II-leading fifth save of the season at Chico State. The two-way player also had the third-highest batting average on the team at .378 with 14 hits, five RBIs, two doubles and a home run. With her spectacular play, Coyle was twice named CCAA Pitcher of the Week while being a major contributor to the Cougars' 12-game winning streak that included a series sweep at then-No. 11 Chico State. On Thursday, Coyle was named to the 2022 Schutt Sports/NFCA DII National Player & Pitcher of the Year Top 50 list.
