Ayded Reyes of the No. 3 Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team has been named the CSUSM Co-Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the of Sept. 30 - Oct. 6, 2013. Reyes won her second race of the season and led CSUSM to their fourth win in as many tries at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational. Reyes ran the 6K course in 22:05.7, five and a half seconds ahead of teammate Kate Bouvattee and 24 seconds ahead of third-place finished Kelly Collins of Westmont. The Cougars crushed the field with a score of 29 points, ahead of Calremont-Mudd-Scripps with 78 points, Cal Poly Pomona with 80 points and No. 12 Westmont with 94 points. It is the second time this season that Reyes has earned CSUSM Female Student-Athlete of the Week.
