Jason Stock joined the Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics in the fall of 2012. Originally hired as CSUSM's Assistant Athletic Director, Stock was promoted to Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance in 2014.
Stock oversees, administers and ensures institutional control in all phases of the compliance program. He makes sure CSUSM complies with NCAA and university regulations.

He was a major contributor during the NCAA Division II process (2014-17). Â
Prior to his time at CSUSM, Stock spent five years as Academic Support Manager for the Santa Clara University men's and women's basketball teams under the umbrella of the Department of Compliance and Student Services.
He was also involved with providing NCAA rule interpretations to SCU coaches, staff and student-athletes, serving as a liaison to the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure the enforcement of NCAA initial-eligibility requirements. Stock earned his master's degree in Business Administration from SCU in the summer of 2012.
Stock earned his Bachelor's in geography from UCLA in 2005. While an undergrad student, he worked in the Bruin athletic marketing department.
Prior to working at Santa Clara, Stock worked Group Sales for the Southern California Tennis Association's Countrywide Classic Tennis Tournament and as the Manager of Community Relations for the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Stock was married in June 2014 to his wife, Rocío and currently lives in Escondido.
