Michele Ramirez joined the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in August 2014.
Ramirez, a former standout for the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team, spent last year playing professional women's soccer for Ostersunds Women's Football Club in Swedish Division 1.
A four-year starter, she was named to the A.I.I. First Team in 2010 and was an A.I.I. All-Tournament selection in 2008. She played eight years of club soccer for So Cal Infinity in the Cal South Premier League and was also a four-year starter at St. Joseph High School. She was the first CSUSM women's player to sign a professional contract.
Ramirez, a CSUSM 2011 graduate, has also played for the San Diego Sea Lions of the Women's Premier Soccer League's Pacific-South Division.
She coached three years at Rancho Buena Vista High School as the JV head coach, in addition to serving as a coach for the Carlsbad Wave Soccer Club.
