AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2023
  • Appeared in 46 games this season with 42 starts.
  • Made 41 starts at catcher and one as the designated player. 
  • Hit .279 with 36 hits, 12 runs, 34 RBIs, five home runs, six doubles, four stolen bases, 57 total bases, six walks, a .744 OPS, .442 slugging percentage and a .302 on-base percentage in 129 at-bats.


AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2022
  • Appeared in 49 games this season with 42 starts.
  • Made 31 starts at catcher, four as the designated player and one in right field. 
  • Hit .178 with 21 hits, eight runs, 10 RBIs, three doubles, 24 total bases, 13 walks, a .459 OPS, .203 slugging percentage and a .256 on-base percentage in 118 at-bats.
  • Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one double against Cal State Dominguez Hills (March 19). 
  • Put together a 4-for-8 perfoormance with two runs and two RBIs in the doubleheader at Biola (April 1). 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2021
  • Did not attend Cal State San Marcos. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020
  • Played in seven games and started in five in the abbreviated season.
  • Plated a run against Humboldt State (Feb. 8).  

HIGH SCHOOL 
  • A 2019 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, Calif. 
  • Selected Coaches Choice her senior year. 
  • Named team MVP her freshman year. 
  • Holds the record for throwing out runners on steal attempts in school history. 
  • Outdoors Club President. 
  • Played summer ball for the Firecrackers and was the 2018 Colorado Sparkler Runner-Up.

  • Daughter of Jason and Kristen Steiner. 
  • Enjoys surfing, hiking, snowboarding, skating and hanging out with her dogs.

  • Greatest influence is her mom. 
  • Favorite food is pizza. 
  • Roots for the L.A. Dodgers. 
  • Favorite athlete is Chris Taylor. 
  • Most memorable moment was winning regionals AT HOME and singing "Ole Ole Ole" to all the fans!
  • Likes most about CSUSM is how close it is to everything. Also loves all of the people she has met. 
  • Favorite memory at CSUSM was playing Team USA and getting to step in the batters box against an Olympic pitcher. 
  • Desires to coach softball someday and pass on her knowledge. 
  • Majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in history. 
  • Intends on being a real estate agent, city planner and traveler after graduation.
